Step1: Design Your Piece First

DSCF0042.jpg
Before you start threading, take a moment to design your jewellery.

Lay the beads out on your table and experiment with different arrangements.
You can try:
- Symmetrical patterns
- Colour gradients
- Random playful mixes
- Adding one special “hero bead” in the centre

There’s no wrong way to do this. Trust your instinct.

Step 2: Cut Your Cord

Cut a piece of elastic cord.

Recommended length:
- Bracelet: ~20–25 cm
- Necklace: ~35–45 cm

Always cut a little longer than needed. Extra length makes tying knots much easier.

Inside your kit, you’ll find two small metal findings (usually packed together in one of the little cubes):

- One looks like a tiny round metal bead (this is the crimp bead)

- The other looks like a small metal shell with a hole in the center that can close (this is the crimp cover)

We’re going to use these to create the starting knot of your chain.
